First, considering the condition of your clothing is important. Also, there is a difference between wanting and needing new clothes. There are appropriate times to go and buy new clothes in small quantities, of course. Wanting new clothes is always a choice, but needing new clothes will be a legitimate thing that occurs a handful of times per year. Clothes do last a long time if taken care of properly, so thirty trips to buy new clothes each year is just unnecessary.
